Davis Island is a large island in Mississippi, United States.
The island is approximately 30,000 acres in size depending on the Mississippi River level. Confederate President Jefferson Davis's Brierfield plantation as well as his brother Joe Davis's Hurricane plantation where located on the island. The remains of the planations are still there. The island is now divided among several different hunting clubs.
