Davis Graham Stubbs is a large law firm based in Denver, USA. It was founded in 1915 and employs 100 attorneys.
The firm's three "name" partners were Richard Davis, Donald Graham and Donald Stubbs. Prior to his service as Deputy Attorney General and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Byron R. White was a partner in the firm.
In one of their most high-profile cases, attorney Jonathan Rauchway argued a case in New York in the summer of 2005 that may determine whether the federal Voting Rights Act requires states to allow felons to vote. The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit took the unusual action of hearing this case, Muntaqim v. Coombe, before the full court of fifteen judges, instead of the usual 3 judge panel. The NAACP, ACLU and other civil rights groups filed friend-of-the-court briefs supporting Rauchway's argument.
