Davidson's Mains

Davidsons Mains is an affluent suburb of Edinburgh, Scotland. It is adjacent to the areas of Barnton, Cramond, Silverknowes, Blackhall and Corbiehill/House O'Hill. It is an upper-middle class neighbourhood which is associated with the EH4 postcode.
Within the village are a large number of shops of many kinds, ranging from cobblers to large supermarkets, as well as food outlets of various kinds. There are also a funeral director's, four churches, two banks, a veterinary surgery, a doctor's surgery, two dental surgeries and a school.
The area is currently served by three bus routes run by Lothian Buses: the 24 which travels via Tesco between Edinburgh Park and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh; the 21 which travels to the Gyle Centre via Clermiston and to Leith in the other direction; the 41 which travels from Cramond to Morningside.
In The Daily Mirror newspaper, the EH4 postcode was declared to have the second highest number of millionaires in the United Kingdom, and the highest number in Scotland.
