David Yaffe (English professor)

David Yaffe (born 1973) is an English professor at Syracuse University and the author of Fascinating Rhythm: Reading Jazz in American Writing (Princeton: Princeton University Press, 2006). (ISBN 0691123578) His writings have appeared in many publications, including The Nation, Slate, The New York Times, The Village Voice, and The Chronicle of Higher Education. He is considered to be one of the leading experts on the life and work of Bob Dylan as well as that of Joni Mitchell.
