David Willey

David G. Willey is a physics professor at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Aston University and a Certificate in Education from Birmingham University. In 1972 he obtained a Master's degree in Physics from the Ohio State University.

Besides teaching physics Willey takes parts of his show "How Does A Thing Like That Work?" to Burbank and is a regular guest, appearing as the "mad scientist," on Jay Leno's The Tonight Show.[1][2]

In 1998 Willey, John Stossel, and thirteen others took part in the the "world's longest firewalk" in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 165 feet, and was aired on The Power of Belief.[3]

He appeared on Penn and Teller's Bullshit! episode about Self-help.[1]
