David Whitehill is a popular Australian TV personality, former Cleo Bachelor of the Year (2001) and dolphin trainer for Sea World on the Gold Coast. His latest undertaking is hosting the new Lifestyle travel show Escape.

David has been romantically linked with various female friends, including Imogen Bailey his former Skating on Thin Ice dance partner. However, despite reports, this Australian hunk claims that he is still single and looking for his dream girl.
This native of the sunny Australian state of Queensland showed an interest in environmental issues, and was an avid water sports enthusiast from an early age leading to his career as a dolphin trainer. This softer side as well as his blond good looks led to his nomination and eventual win in the Cleo Bachelor of the Year contest. David's eventual transission into TV presenting came as no surprise for friends of the charismatic and hard working 32 year old.
Know for his love of nature and animals, David is often quoted as saying his one real regret when travelling to exotic destinations for work, is that his dog a Blue Heeler, Kody, sometimes has to stay behind.

David has hosted and appeared on a variety of TV shows from 2002, including Hot Source, Brisbane Extra, Kerri-Anne Mornings, Just for Laughs: Gags, So Fresh and Saturday Afternoon!. His official website elaborates:
David has taken the hard working road. Not only has he worked as a successful face in front of the camera, but he has also taken his hand to learning the ropes behind the scenes. He now successfully produces and writes the majority of his travel segments
