David Edward Walker (Born on May 21, 1941 (Age 66) in Edgewater, New Jersey) is an award-winning television news anchor at KCRA 3 in Sacramento. He currently co-anchors with his wife Lois Hart for the 5 and 6:30pm editions of KCRA 3.
Walker first worked at WESH-TV, in Orlando, Florida, before moving to Sacramento in the 1970s with KOVR and KCRA. In 1980, Walker and Hart left Sacramento to join CNN and co-anchored CNN's first news broadcast. In 1989, he joined CNBC and anchored its first news program. In the early '90s they decided to come back to Sacramento and since 1990 they have been anchoring the evening editions. In 2005, they switched positions to only anchor the 5 and 6:30pm and no longer anchored the 11pm newscast. They currently reside in Sacramento.
