David Velez was born in 1973 in Bogota, Colombia.

His first release Retorno a la nada[1] was nominated for the Qwartz awards in the research field[2].

David currently lives in Queens, NYC.

David Velez switched from a glitch melodic style visible on his first three releases, to a more ambient / sound art approach present on the records released after Exploraciones sonoras de paisajes surreales y espacios infinitos.
