David Templeman is a current Australian Labor Party MP serving the role of Minister for the Environment; Climate Change; Peel in the state of Western Australia. He is the current Member for Mandurah.
In 1994, he was elected to the Mandurah City Council, where he served as Deputy Mayor from 1997 until 2001.
In 2001, he was elected to state parliament, and was subsequently re-elected in 2005. In March 2007, he was given his current role as Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and the Peel Region.
