David Steward

David L. Steward is chairman and founder of World Wide Technology, Inc., one of the largest African-American-owned businesses in America. He also is the author of Doing Business by the Good Book. Steward also serves both on the Executive Committee and the Campaign Chair for the United Way of Greater St. Louis, Missouri. Steward was born to a poor family in Clinton, Missouri. He founded World Wide Technology in 1990 with four other people in a 4,000-square-foot (400 m²) office space. Steward's company now exceeds $2 billion in revenue. Mr. Steward is married with 2 adult children. He is also a Silver Beaver recipient from the Greater St. Louis Area Council of the Boy Scouts.
