David Smith (athlete)

David Smith (born 1962-06-21) is a retired hammer thrower from Great Britain, who represented the United Kingdom in the men's hammer throw event at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. There he failed to reach the final, having thrown 69.12 metres in the qualifying round. He also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
