David Schultheis is a Republican member of the Colorado Senate, representing the 9th District since 2007. Previously he was a member of the Colorado House of Representatives from 2000 to 2006.
Schultheis has lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado since 1992, before which he lived in California. He is known for his conservative views[1], particularly regarding education and illegal immigration. He has been married to his wife, Sandra, for 42 years and has two daughters and five grandsons.[2] Schultheis was an Eagle Scout as a youth.[3]
