David Rosenthal (musician)

David Rosenthal is an American keyboardist, music producer, and songwriter mostly known for working with Billy Joel. Rosenthal has been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards and in addition to Joel, has toured and recorded with Bruce Springsteen, Enrique Iglesias, Robert Palmer, Whitesnake, Steve Vai, Ritchie Blackmore and Rainbow, Cyndi Lauper, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Little Steven.

Rosenthal co-wrote the No. 11 R&B hit "Let Me Take You Down" by Stacy Lattisaw, as well as the songs "Can't Let You Go" and "Fire Dance" from the 1983 album Bent Out of Shape by Rainbow. He is also credited with co-writing the song "Miss Mistreated" from Rainbow's 1982 album Straight Between the Eyes and Fire Dance from Bent Out of Shape.
