David Redfern

David Redfern (born June 7, 1936 in Ashbourne, Derbyshire) is an English photographer specializing in music photography. He has been a photographer for 45 years and has over 10,000 pictures in his collection. His collection includes many famous photos of the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix. In 1999 he published a book about his life call The Unclosed Eye. He currently lives in London, England.

He started off photographing jazz festivals such as the Beaulieu Jazz Festival in Beaulieu, Hampshire.

David Redfern is president of BAPLA (British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies) starting from 1992 until present.[1]
