David Quiróz

Mario David Quiroz Villon (born 8 September 1982 in Guayaquil, Ecuador) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays for Barcelona SC. Quiroz is seen as a promising player; he has played for the Ecuadorian national team and made his beginning appearances against Sweden. His next international appearance was in a friendly match against Ireland in the Giants Stadium, New York. He was a non-playing member selected for the Copa America 2007 for Ecuador. He has seen playing time so far in Ecuador's 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign, starting in the 5-1 win over Peru in Quito.
