David Pierce Hughes

David Pierce Hughes (b. September 15, 1952) is a British author, poet, and artist from Loughborough, Leicestershire. He is the author of The One Tree, an an ecologically-themed children's book which tells the story of a young boy who befriends a tree, as well as the tree's destruction and eventual renewal.

David also wrote the "JimJAZZ Mouse" series of books for children, which explores music, feelings and colour.

His published poems include "Download with Dante" and "Poems One Euro Each".

He has also produced many acclaimed pieces of digital art which are regularly exhibited in London and Wales.

David spends much of his time at his studio in St David's, Wales.
