David Owen Nosworthy

David Nosworthy is currently the coach of the New Zealand based first-class cricket team, the Canterbury Wizards. In early 2007, Nosworthy was announced as the coach for the New Zealand A Team tour to Australia, scheduled for July 2007.

Nosworthy was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on Christmas Day, 1967 and took up cricket at a young age whilst living in Port Elizabeth. He first made his name playing for the Border team. Although he never made the step up to international cricket, he was a well respected player at the time.

Following his retirement from playing, he took up a coaching role with the Pretoria based franchise, the Nashua Titans.
