David Oliver (born April 24, 1982) is a hurdling athlete

Son of Brenda Chambers, who also competed in track and field in the 400m hurdles event.

Height: 6 foot 2 5/6 inches

Weight: 200 pounds

Currently lives and trains in Orlando, Florida with Coach Brooks Johnson

A professional athlete who competes in the 110 meter hurdles event outdoor and the 60 meter hurdles event indoor

Qualified for the 2007 World Outdoor Championships with a 3rd place finish at the 2007 USA Track & Field Championships with a time of 13.18 finishing behind Terrence Trammell 13.08 and Dominique Arnold 13.17

Qualified for the 2008 World Indoor Championships with a first place finish at the 2008 USA Track & Field Indoor Championships, with a time of 7.47

Comprises 1/4 of the World Record Shuttle Hurdle Relay team (Aubrey Herring, Joel Brown, Aries Merritt) that ran 53.31 at the 2008 Penn Relay Carnival

  • Howard's first track and field All-America since 1989 (Calvin Branch 400m hurdles)
  • Graduated from Howard University in the Fall of 2004 with a BBA in Marketing
