From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
David Nestor (born May 1, 1974) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Kilmacud Crokes senior team.[1] He previously played for Ballyhaunis Gaelic Athletic Association and Mayo[2] and received a provincial medal from University College, Dublin.[3] In 1995, Nestor was named Mayo Sports Star of the Year.[4]
Tommy Lyons, Kilmacud Crokes Chairman and former Dublin Gaelic football manager, is quoted saying, "he has a lot of potential and could have a bright future if he'd only put down the tennis racket" (perhaps a reference to a Canadian tennis player of a similar name).[citation needed]
