David Morris, born in Kilkenny, Ireland, on the 27th of November 1988, is a rising star of the snooker world. Aged 16, he reached the quarter finals of the U21 World Snooker Championships. He has been Irish champion at every underage level and this year, he won his second senior title to add to the one he won last year. This cemented his place as the Irish number 1 which means he managed to get on the main tour. He is ranked 71st in the world, and is provisionly 64.
