David Menzies

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

David Menzies is a Canadian freelance writer with distinctly conservative views. He writes in the automotive section of the National Post. Menzies is also a weekly guest on CTS' The Michael Coren Show on Monday nights. He is also a regular, "Media is the Message" panelist each Thursday on John Oakley's Toronto radio program.

Menzies is known for his "over-the-top" personality. His media appearances are often characterized by angry outbursts, personal insults, and the use of "props" to underline a point. Some of Menzie's more famous (or notorious) stunts have included eating Kentucky Fried Chicken in the middle of a broadcast and the use of a Barbie doll to criticize frequent target Belinda Stronach.

Menzies is also an avid and enthusiastic hockey fan and played the position of goaltender in the local Toronto area until chronic problems with his hips prevented him from playing.
