David M. Gilbert is an American academic who specializes in biological science. He is currently the J. Herbert Taylor Distinguished Professor of Molecular Biology at Florida State University, where his lab focuses on specification of mammalian replication origins, mapping peplication Origins in Human ES cells, and nuclear organization and stem cell commitment.
