David Ludlow is an up and coming young Australian actor, who will be seen as Pvt. Lil'One in the Steven Spielberg mini-series, "The Pacific", which will air on HBO in the United States and the Seven Network in Australia in 2009.

David Ludlow was born near Toronto in Canada on May 23rd, 1988. His Australian parents, both business people, returned with David and his older brother to Australia in 1989 and David became an Australian citizen. David’s passion for acting was ignited when he began acting classes and performed in community theatre when he was just 9 years old.

At age 10, David was enrolled at The Peninsula School (Peninsula Grammar) in Melbourne, Victoria. Here David excelled academically and with drama and music. It was also during this time, at age 15, that David would begin appearing in film and television. For his final year of high school, David was elected Head of School (Head Boy) and was awarded a Scholarship.

Upon leaving high school, David studied filmmaking at The University of Melbourne and was invited to perform at the National Theatre, Australia. This led him to be signed by his Australian talent agency, A-STAR Agency. Within 2 months of signing, David was cast in Steven Spielberg’s epic mini-series, “The Pacific”, playing Pvt. Lil’One.

David has also been active with the Red Cross, been a Victorian Representative at the 2006 National UN Youth Conference and nominated for ‘Young Citizen of the Year’ by the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council. He ‘plans’ on studying his twice deferred ‘Bachelor of Communication (Media)’ degree at RMIT University in 2009.
