David Julian Levi (born November 13, 1994)[1] is an actor[1] and keyboardist. He is best-known for the role as himself and keyboardist on The Naked Brothers Band (TV series). David Levi is good friend with the Wolff family, and has known Nat since preschool. He took up keyboards while in preschool, and has recently started guitar. He is an original member of the Silver Boulders.

Q: How did you first meet the Wolff family? David: The first time I ever met the Wolff family—Nat, Alex, Mike, and Polly—was when I went to pre-school with Nat at Downtown Nursery School in New York. Josh and Thomas, two other bandmates went to school with us, met the Wolffs there too. We were friends from the start. We hung out and played a lot together, and had a great time. We became really fast friends.
Q: When did you take up keyboards? David: I took up keyboards a few years ago.
Q: Have you always been interested in music? David: My dad is a jazz enthusiast and he loves all kinds of music, especially rock and jazz. He got me into it, almost as much as Nat and the band.
Q: What made you chose keyboards? David: Nat had a lot of influence. His dad had already played piano for 20 years. I'd always hear him playing it. He told me it was an awesome instrument. Basically, I picked it up from him. And my dad doesn't play keyboards, but he taught me the importance of each instrument and the piano sounded really cool, so I chose that.
Q: Do you play any other instruments? David: I'm starting to play guitar. I used to play trumpet for school. I really disliked it, and I was kind of forced into it. I eventually dropped that, but I'm starting guitar now.
Q: Tell us about your character—is he really like you or are there differences? David: My character is sort of like me in a lot of ways, but in a lot of other ways we're very different. Usually, his two partners in crime are Thomas and Qaasim and we usually stay secluded from the rest of the band to go make mischief and be naughty and stuff. That sometimes relates to me, I mean, everybody likes to wreak havoc and be a little chaotic. Overall, I think we're a little similar.
Q: What's the funniest thing that's happened on set? Any pranks? David: This year, Allie, who you may know as Rosalina and Jessie, snuck into Nat's dressing room and went everywhere with red and pink markers and wrote all this girly stuff, completely feminized our dressing room. We were planning for a week to get back at them, but we lost interest.
