David Leon (born 1980 in Newcastle-on-Tyne) is an English actor.

David turned down a place at drama school in order to pursue an acting career, and soon received a role, albeit a small, uncredited one, in Oliver Stone's Alexander. Perhaps he is best known, however, for portraying the character Troy Gillespie in the British television series Cutting It, set in a Manchester hair-dressing salon. Boy Eats Girl was produced in 2005 and directed by Stephen Bradley. He starred in a lead role as a teenage boy in love with girl and dies the same night he was to profess his love. He is "re-animated" through a voodoo ritual performed by his mother. Samantha Mumba stars as his love interest. In 2006, he had a main role in the film These Foolish Things, which also starred high-profile actors such as Terence Stamp, Lauren Bacall and Anjelica Huston. The film's lead actress was Zoe Tapper, who guest-starred in an episode of Cutting It. In 2007, David played Billy The Kid in the BBC's mini series The Wild West. Most recently he could be seen in Channel 4's hard-hitting drama Clapham Junction. He currently resides in Islington, London.
