David Lawee

David Lawee is a Canadian born entrepreneur. He earned a law degree at McGill University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

David currently works at Google as VP of Corporate Development. Prior to leading Google's M&A team, David was the VP of marketing at Google, leading consumer, B2B and channel marketing worldwide. Before joining Google, David was a co-founder of Xfire , a gaming social networking service that was acquired by Viacom for $110M. Before that he was the co-founder of Mosaic Venture Partners, a $130M VC fund based in Toronto. David started his career at McKinsey & Co.. He is married to attorney Lorna Borenstein (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20070329.wwisewords0329/BNStory/specialSmallBusiness/home), who launched eBay Canada, was later head of Yahoo Personals, and is now president of Move Inc., which operates Realtor.com (http://rismedia.com/wp/2007-05-02/lorna-borenstein-named-president-of-move-inc/).
