David Laliberté (born March 17, 1986 in Saint-Liboire, Quebec) is a Canadian professional ice hockey right wing who currently plays for the Philadelphia Phantoms in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Laliberté started his playing career after being drafted 3rd overall in the QMJHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Rocket. He quickly rose to the top of the team, being one of their best offensive forecheckers. After just two years with the Rockets, he was drafted in the fourth round, 124th overall, by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
However, tragedy struck when he sustained an inoperable injury to a nerve in his back, which sent pain shooting down his leg and made it difficult for him to even walk. The injury caused him to miss a year of playing, and doctors say that he will have to tolerate some pain for the rest of his life. Despite the injury, he returned to the team’s lineup in December, was named captain, and helped lead the underachieving Rocket back into the playoffs. He even scored a hat trick in his first game back with the Rocket.
On May 17, 2007, he signed a three year entry level contract with the Philadelphia Flyers, who had previously said he was the most naturally gifted player selected in the 2004 draft.
Laliberte split time in the 2007–2008 season between the AHL's Philadelphia Phantoms and the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.
