David L. Williams (Democrat)

David L. Williams is a perennial candidate in Kentucky elections, usually running as a Democrat but occasionally running as a Republican (and notably, once, running as both simultaneously). Most recently, he was the Democratic candidate for the position of Agriculture Commissioner, losing to Richie Farmer.

He is currently running for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate, to take on Mitch McConnell in the 2008 election. Mitch McConnell is the current Minority Leader in the Senate.
