The eldest son, Ben,was a Luton supporter then a Manchester United supporter before supporting Arsenal and now Mk Dons. David Kohler now attends most matches at stadium Mk. he hopes to help with the planning of the new stadium. Ben Kohler attends the prestigious Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School and plays waterpolo there under the reign of Ian Matthews and Phillip Stiff also known as Stiffy, Stiffler and the stiff.
