David Knight (author & CEO)

David Knight (born 29 July 1978 in South London) is an author, CEO, trainer and BBC Business commentator. He lived in Crofton Park before moving to Sidcup in Kent in 2000.

Knight is the author of Yes! You can start your own business and is also the person behind the "Yes! You can" brand which includes other titles such as Yes! You can do public speaking.

Knight's first book, Yes! You can start your own business was discussed in the Houses of Parliament and has been championed by Vince Cable, Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, as an excellent guide designed to help people start up in business. The book has been released as an audio CD in more than eight different languages and has been turned into an entrepreneur training event.[1] The book has since been incorporated into the national curriculum for business studies at secondary school education..

Knight was trained and mentored in Hypnosis by Paul McKenna and has trained with the founder of Neuro-linguistic programming, Richard Bandler. He has a regular column in the official journal for the national council of psychotherapists, in which he passes on business tips and advice. Knight is infamous for having a portfolio of celebrity clients and sports stars. Knights Eyes closed experience CD “unbeatable goalkeeping” became a personal development best seller in 2007 with a host of goalkeepers providing testimonials in support for the CD including Paul Robinson and Jens Lehman of Arsenal.

Voted one of “the people to watch out for in 2008” article in The Sunday Supplement magazine on the 23rd December 2007. The article details Knight as the new Jonathan Ross of the football world for his interview autobiography series.

Knight whom is also a former radio DJ and club promoter is known to support infamous football club Millwall. Knight took part in Millwalls version of Celebrity fit club to help raise awareness of men's health whilst raising money for the everyman charity appeal. Source www.millwallfc.com

In late 2007 Knight launched 60minsTV[2], in which he interviews champions of business through to sporting legends. Each interview is later turned into a limited edition audio CD. Interviewees to date include Chris Woods, Julian Dicks, Ron Harris and Peter Bonetti.[3]
