David Kernahan is a former Australian rules footballer best known as Stephen Kernahan's brother and for his career with Carlton in the 1980s and 1990s.

Kernahan played 53 games and kicked 8 goals for Carlton, debuting against Hawthorn in round 1, 1989 and playing his final game against the same club in round 18, 1993.
