David Kemper is a drummer. He has performed as a member of the Jerry Garcia Band and Bob Dylan's band. He was with the Jerry Garcia Band for last eleven years of Garcia's life. David was also the longest lasting drummer of Bob Dylan to date. Kemper joined well-known Dutch progressive rock band, Focus, for a short period in the mid-1970s, playing both on album and on tour. He has also played with Mike Stinson and Elkie Brooks.
