David Keith Jordan (born 1985 in Barnet) is a British singer and songwriter.

Born to a mother from Montserrat and a father from Calcutta, Jordan has been writing pop-rock songs since he was 11 (after his parents split). Growing up his music idol was Prince. After spending the first nine years of his life in London, Jordan chose to live with his grandmother until he moved into a council flat in Finchley aged 16. He then moved onto singing as it was his main passion with his cousin Andrew F.

Obsessed with songwriting and a record deal, he would study drama at college during the day, work at Starbucks in New Oxford Street in the evening, and then head to Fortress Studios in Old Street to work on songs with his producer friend Jack Freegard. Jordan also hung out with Amy Winehouse.

His first single, 'Place in My Heart', has been described as an "irresistible slice of modernised Michael Jackson. Jordan's debut album, 'Set the Mood', was released on 29 October 2007.

Jordan performed 'Sun Goes Down', from his 'Set the Mood' album at the Royal Variety Performance 2007. Sun Goes Down made the BBC Radio 1 A playlist on 21 January 2008, and was performed on Al Murray's Happy Hour on 25 January. David also supported Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias on his 'Insomniac' tour in November 2007.
