David Jassy, better known by his stage name Dave Monopoly, is an Swedish singer and songwriter. He rose to fame following the writing of hits including Ashley Tisdale's "Be Good to Me".

David Jassy aka Dave Monopoly was born in Stockholm, Sweden with heritage from The Gambia and Estonia. At an early age he was introduced to the hip hop culture, and by the age of 12 he was performing all around Stockholm as a Human beat box performer and MC. He was part of forming the Hip Hop collective Blue Hill Productions, which included everything from DJ..s, B-Boys and MC..s. After a couple of years he teamed up with Rapper/Producer Andrés Avellan and formed a group called The Navigators. They released the critically acclaimed album called "Daily Life Illustrators" in 1999. With hits like the grammy nominated "Superstar", "I Remember" and "Come Into My Life", they received international recognition. The album also included the underground hit "Blue Hill", which was a tribute to the area where they grew up. The group split up in the year 2000. David is now working as a Topline Songwriter/Producer/MC for various artists such as Lumidee, Ashley Tisdale, No Angels, V Factory, Heidi Montag, Vanessa S, Jeanette Biedermann, Roni Superstar, Jadedust, Ilya, Sara Love, Darin, Velvet, etc. He is known for his detailed lyrics and is always striving to "think outside the box". He is the CEO of Jassy World Entertainment which has the ambition of finding and developing new Songwriters/Artists/Producers in the urban Hip Hop and R&B scene. [1]
