David Hunt (born 1954) is a British actor who has worked as an actor in both the United Kingdom and the United States.

Hunt's best known US television role was Ian St. James in the final season of Falcon Crest (1989 - 1990) . His best known US film role is Harlan Rook, the murderer in the 1988 action film The Dead Pool, the fifth installment in the Dirty Harry series. He also has had guest roles on the television situation comedy Everybody Loves Raymond as Ray Barone's nemesis neighbour, Bill Parker. He also appeared in the recurring role of Darren McCarthy during Season 6 of 24. Back in the UK, Hunt was a regular cast member of the series Dream Team.

In 2005, Hunt directed the documentary The Bituminous Coal Queens of Pennsylvania. Hunt's latest project is the feature film The Deal with William H. Macy, Meg Ryan, and Jason Ritter. It is scheduled for release in 2008.

Hunt is married to Patricia Heaton, star of Everybody Loves Raymond. They have four sons: Sam Hunt (b. 1994); John Basil Hunt (b. 1996); Joseph Charles 'Joe' Hunt (b. 1997); and Daniel Patrick 'Dan' Hunt (b. January 20, 1999).
