David Grant is a Scottish radio broadcaster and voice-over artist currently working as the Drivetime presenter on Glasgow based 96.3 Rock Radio [1] where he has worked since the station's launch on January the 7th January 2007.[1]
His radio career began in 1990 when he did evenings at Ayr based West Sound Radio [2] and travel bulletins for the now defunct AA Roadwatch. He also spent a few years as an announcer on Scottish Television [2] in the early 90s. In the mid-90s he moved to the local radio station for Paisley and Renfrewshire, Q96, where he was Head of Music and presented Drivetime's before being asked to return to West Sound [3]and take over the Drivetime show there. He has also appeared on television several times over the years, most notably chasing a sheep on an episode of 90's BBC Scotland [3] sketch show Naked Video.[4]
