David Giuliano

The Right Reverend David Giuliano (born May 16, 1960) is currently the 39th Moderator of the United Church of Canada elected at the 39th General Council of the United Church in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The council was held at Lakehead University from August 13-19, 2006.

Previously, Giuliano had been the minister at St. John's Pastoral Charge in Marathon, Ontario since the United Church settled him in 1987. It is interesting to note that on the day that Giuliano was elected Moderator (August 18, 2006) his son was celebrating his 19th birthday. Giuliano is a graduate of Queen's Theological College in Kingston, Ontario.
