David Gill (born 24 February 1975 in Dublin) is a British/Irish economist.[citation needed]
Educated at University College, Oxford for his first degree, he then received a master's degree and doctorate from Nuffield College, Oxford. Since 2005, he is a fellow at Trinity College, Oxford.
In 2005, he developed the first model that predicts whether academics or firms should release their results under particular market conditions.[1]
