David Harold Eastman is a former public servant of Canberra, Australia. In 1995 he was convicted of murder over the January 10, 1989 shooting death of Australian Federal Police Assistant Commissioner Colin Winchester outside of Winchester's house. He is serving life without parole in a NSW jail but will be transferred to the ACT when the new prison is completed in late 2008.
