Career highlights

David D. King (born February 2, 1985) is an Australian rules footballer with the Box Hill Hawks of the Victorian Football League. He has played for the AFL's Collingwood Football Club.

Drafted 58th overall by Collingwood in the 2002 AFL Draft, King made his AFL debut in 2004, however he had been speculated as a potential shock inclusion in the Magpies Grand Final line up against Brisbane in the lead up to the 2003 Grand Final. Arguably, his crowning moment arose in the Round 18 game against Richmond, when he scored the match-winning goal from close-range. There were few other highlights in King's career, although the following week he booted three goals in a promising effort in the boilover bvictory against Fremantle.

After three seasons with Collingwood, King was delisted at the end of the 2005 season having not been able to crack it for a senior gig. He has played for the Box Hill Hawks since then.
