David Breen (born April 4, 1979 in Waterford, Republic of Ireland) is an Irish footballer.

Nicknamed "Double-Chin Breen" he appreciates a defender who can play and read the game. One of the most experienced players in the Blues squad, Breener has had spells with Kilkenny City as well as junior football in Waterford with Bohemians and Johnville. David has won First Division honours with Waterford United and Kilkenny City. He works as assistant-manager of Alfie Hales Sports Shop and says that Glen Crowe is his most difficult opponent.

Favourite phrases include 'buddy' 'mate' and the now disused 'brother.'
