David John Bradbury (born 28 February 1976 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian politician who was elected to the House of Representatives as member for the Division of Lindsay, New South Wales for the Australian Labor Party at the 2007 federal election.
He had run and was beaten by Jackie Kelly in the previous two Federal Elections, but Kelly's decision to retire prior to the 2007 election made it third time lucky for Bradbury.
Bradbury was president of NSW young labor and a staff officer for NSW Senator, Steve Hutchins. He has served as a councillor on the Penrith City Council for the past eight years, and has twice been elected Mayor of Penrith by the Labor dominated Council (in the years he ran against Jackie Kelly).
As a graduate of the University of Sydney, Bradbury has an Arts degree, an Honours degree in Law and is currently completing a Master of Laws, specialising in taxation Law. Ironically Bradbury's Law firm was used to create the controversial WorkChoices reform of the Howard Government.
He is a solicitor and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2002 and previously practiced as a taxation lawyer with the corporate law firm Blake Dawson.
He is married with 4 children.
