David Bourgeois

David Bourgeois (born 1968 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American satirist, film critic, and editor. His work has appeared in numerous publications and on Web sites.

He began his career working for Spin magazine in 1989. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1990, he took at job at at Spy magazine, where he worked under Kurt Andersen and Graydon Carter. Currently he's a writer for the Website 23/6. He is also a contributing writer for Very Short List.

He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife, Neslihan Danisman, and daughter.
