David Bonneville

David Bonneville is a Portuguese film director, screenwriter and production designer. He currently lives between London and Lisbon.

He graduated in Sound and Image from the Catholic University of Portugal and Pompeu Fabra University, Spain. He studied cinema as an intern student in Lisbon and Paris. He worked as an assistant with legendary film director Manoel de Oliveira, Jaume Balagueró and Douglas Gordon. He lived in Barcelona for five years where he worked in cinema, television, advertising and video clips.

His first film Maquete was shown in Lisbon, Porto, London, Berlin, Clermont-Ferrand and São Paulo. He was invited to attend the Berlinale Talent Campus, at the 58th Berlin International Film Festival.
