David Barry (born 30 April 1943) appeared in the LWT sitcom Please Sir! and the spin-off series The Fenn Street Gang, as Frankie Abbott, the gum-chewing mother's boy who was convinced he was extremely tough. David is now an author with two novels under his belt, Each Man Kills and Flashback. He currently lives in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
