David Chilton is Canadian a author from Sarnia, Ontario. Today he resides in Kitchener, Ontario where he runs his own financial planning business and publishing company. In 1989 he self-published his book The Wealthy Barber. A look at personal finance, it went on to sell over two million copies, and is Canada's best selling book.[1] Chilton also publishes a line of successful low fat cook books titled Looneyspoons, Crazy Plates and Eat, Shrink and be Merry which all went on to be national best sellers and lead to a Television show and a line of frozen dinners.
