David Banks (born April 2, 1983 in Portland, Oregon) is an American boxer.

Banks began his professional career in 2005, and lost to Peter Manfredo Jr in June of 2007. He was devastatingly knocked out by Edison Pantera Miranda in January of 2008. [1] Joe Tessitore compared the straight right that sent Banks through the ropes to a shotgun being fired off.

He will be one of the featured boxers on the 3rd season of the boxing reality TV series, The Contender, The Contender (season 3), premiering September 4th, 2007 on ESPN.
