David Maradona Armstrong (born 23 January 1987) is a Northern Irish professional footballer who currently plays for Heart of Midlothian.

Armstrong is a Northern Irish Under-19 international whose versatility has resulted in him being deployed as both a central defender and striker. He has yet to make a first team appearance for Hearts and spent the 2005-06 season on loan to Northern Irish side Crusaders. In 2006-07 he was loaned to Cowdenbeath for the last 3 months of the season, an arrangement that was extended to include the entire 2007-08 season.

Armstrong was born in Lisburn. His middle name is a tribute to Argentinian footballing legend Diego Maradona.[1]
