David Moore Anderson MHK is currently the Transport Minister of the Isle of Man Government. He has been a Member of the House of Keys from 2001 for Glenfaba. Before going into politics, he was a dairy and mixed farmer. He is the son of former President of the Legislative Council Ian Anderson.
He had been called to resign following his allegedly anti-gay remarks and stance.[1] But is well liked and known for his sound judgement within Tynwald.
He is a keen athlete, having competed in the Commonwealth Games in 1978. He was recently World Champion for Under50s at 400m hurdles, and continues to race.
He is married with 2 grown up children, Rachel, who also works in politics; for the Conservative Party and Mark.
