David A. Marshall

David A. Marshall is an American politician and a member of the Maine Green Independent Party serving on the City Council in Portland, Maine. He is one of the first two members of the Green Independent Party to ever serve on the Portland City Council and the second youngest member to serve in the history of the council (the youngest council member is Kevin Donoghue, also a member of the Green Independent Party). Marshall and Donoghue were both elected to the council in November of 2006.

Marshall is a visual artist and owner of Pine Street Studios, an art gallery he runs out of his home. Pine Street Studios is a popular neighborhood gathering spot on Portland's First Friday Art Walks, and doubled as the Dave Marshall for City Council campaign headquarters.
